The Chart Polski is descended from the Asiatic greyhound. The Chart Polski is a good-tempered dog, loyal and normally reserved. It is protective and displays great courage under fire. During a chase, besides being extremely fast, the Chart Polski is also a very skillful and persistent hunter, reacting quickly and confidently. This breed requires firm and fair human leadership, and must never be treated harshly. Males are 28-32" (70-80cm) and females are 27" to 30" (68-75cm). Any color is allowed and none preferred (red, black, blue, white, black/tan, blue/tan, tri-color, brindle, light sand to red-fawn, sable, parti-color).
