Old Spanish Pointers ( not known outside of Spain), Setting Spaniels and early Scottish Setters have been included in this dog's evolution. Faster than most other companion dogs, they seek out other dogs to play with perhaps because they enjoy running rings around them. These dogs are exuberant extroverts with a joy for life.
