Sloughi Breeders

This noble sight hound family member originated from Northern Africa. The nomadic tribes of the Egypt desert lands and Ethiopia were the first people to have Sloughi dogs as companions.  They were used to hunt hare, jackals and gazelle.  The Sloughi stands between 26 and 30 inches tall at the shoulder.  Females are slightly smaller.  They have a lean athletic look to their body.  The Sloughi coat comes in shades of sand or fawn with or without brindle and black markings.  This loyal breed is affectionate with their family and they are  admirable watchdogs.  Contact the dog breeders below for your next family friend.
